NC State to Compete in Final Weekend before ACC Indoor Championship
RALEIGH -- The NC State men's and women's track and field teams will compete at the Virginia Tech Challenge in Blacksburg, Va., and at the JDL DMR Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C. Competing Feb. 15-16, the Pack has 31 entries between the two meets.

ACC Performers of the Week
The Pack has garnered six ACC Performer of the Week Honors and has earned an honor in four consecutive weeks.  Cravont Charleston and Lauren Evans are two-time winners, while Dominique Clairmonte and Elly Henes have earned the award once.
Packin' the Top 15
The top 15 national qualifying times feature four of the Pack:
Cravont Charleston: 60m dash, 6.54 (2nd)
Elly Henes: 3000m, 9:01.72 (10th)
Elly Henes: 5000m, 15:34.48 (10th)
Gabriele Cunningham: 60m dash, 7.25 (t-10th)
Gabriele Cunningham: 60m hurdles, 8.17 (13th)
Lauren Evans: shot put, 55'3.75" (t-14th)
Pack Setting School Records
The men's and women's teams have set nine school records combined in the 2018-19 indoor track and field season.
Charleston outran his own 60m school record twice this season, most recently at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational with a time of 6.54.
Henes outdid her own women's indoor 5000m record in the Wolfpack track and field record books as she clocked a non-converted time of 15:41.63 in the 5000m at the JDL Early Bird Duals at the JDL Fast Track.
Evans threw for the NC State program shot put record with a 55'0.75" (16.78m) mark at the Clemson Opener, and then bested that throw with a 55'3.75" (16.86m) mark at the Virginia Tech Elite.
Cunningham set the NC State women's indoor 300m dash school record with a 38.78 mark to win the event at the Clemson Orange & Purple Elite Later. Clocking a 7.23 non-converted in the women's 60m dash at the Texas Tech Classic, she sits atop the school record books in the event.
NC State competed at the Hokie Invitational as the women's 4x400m relay team consisting of Alexis Postell, Cunningham, McKenzie Long, and Jada Griffin set a new school record with a time of 3:45.57.
Last Time Out
The Pack recorded 17 personal-bests Feb. 8-9 at the Iowa State Classic and at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational. Charleston outran his own school record for a gold-medal finish in the men's 60m dash with a time of 6.54. Evans threw for her 13th straight podium finish with a 53'7" (16.33) mark in women's shot put. She has placed on the podium in 13 of the 14 events she has competed in this season.
In the women's 200m dash, Cunningham clocked the second-fastest time in school history and a personal-best 23.83. Cunningham's time was followed by Long's personal-best 23.99, which ranks fourth in the NC State records books. Long's time is the fastest by a freshman in school history.
Anna Vess clocked a 4:46.12 in the women's mile, a personal-best, to take silver-medal honors in the women's mile.
