Can I Bring This?
For football and men's basketball, NC State Athletics follows a clear bag policy. Here’s the quick version before you leave home.
Clear Bags
Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags are permitted as long as they do not exceed the approved size.
- Carter Finley Stadium Only:Â Maximum size: 12" x 6" x 12"
- Any clear freezer bag 1 gallon or smaller
- One clear bag per guest
Small Clutches
Small purses or clutch bags may be brought in addition to an approved clear bag.
- Maximum size: 6.5" x 4.5"
- With or without handle or strap
Medical Items
Medically necessary items are permitted after proper inspection at the gate.
- Please allow extra time
- Inspection required upon entry

Diaper bags may be permitted when accompanied by an infant and are subject to inspection.
Can I bring a small purse?
Yes, small purses or clutch bags are permitted if they are no larger than 6.5" x 4.5".
Can I bring a clear tote?
Yes, clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags are permitted if they are no larger than 12" x 6" x 12".
What happens if my bag is not approved?
Fans may be asked to return prohibited bags to their vehicle or dispose of them before entry.
