RALEIGH – The NC State men's and women's track and field teams will open their 2019 outdoor season slates at the Black and Gold Challenge March 15-16 in Orlando, Fla. The Pack sends 24 competitors to participate in 41 events.
2018 Outdoor Season Rewind
18 from the squad represented NC State in the 2018 NCAA East Preliminary Round. Two of the Pack qualified for the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, including redshirt senior Lauren Evans.
2018-19 Indoor Track & Field
NC State collected seven All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships after five Pack members posted top-16 marks to qualify for the championships.
Winning three ACC individual titles (Grant Rivers – heptathlon, Ian Shanklin 5000m, Lauren Evans – shot put), the team recorded 17 all-conference honors, including 11 First Team All-ACC honors.
