RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State Track and Field team is heading back to Blacksburg, Va., to compete in the Hokie Invitational on Jan. 24-25 at the Rector Field House at Virginia Tech.

NC State had a strong showing at the Virginia Tech Invitational on Jan. 17-18 in Blacksburg, Va., achieving 24 top-10 finishes.
A few notables include:
• Elijah Dawes set an NC State program record in the 300m, finishing fourth with a time of 33.70.
• The men swept the high jump podium, led by Charles McBride in first place (2.15m/7' 0.5"). Kyzaiah Stone and Christian Hackett followed, both clearing 2.10m (6' 10.75").
• Tyson Adams secured first place in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 7.45m (24' 5.5").
• Tony Taylor recorded a personal best in the weight throw with a mark of 17.15m (46' 4.25").
• The men's 4x400m relay team, featuring Elijah Patterson, James Coleman, Elijah Dawes, and Xavier Branker, finished third with a time of 3:14.15.
On the women's side:
• Freshman Audrey Jenkins made an impressive debut in the high jump, finishing third with a clearance of 1.66m (5' 5.25").
• In the triple jump, Jayda Hunter earned second place with a personal-best mark of 12.56m (41' 2.5").
JDL Fast is Flat
Junior Grace Hartman will be traveling to Winston-Salem, N.C. on Sunday Jan. 26 to compete in the 5k at the JDL Fast is Flat Invitational.
