Pack Earns Podium Finish on Final Day of Virginia Challenge

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The NC State track and field team returned to action yesterday, picking up one podium finish on the final day of competition at the Virginia Challenge.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Sprints
Ally Henson finished third overall in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 13.69. In the men's 110m hurdles, Xavier Branker clocked in at 14.35 to finish 10th.
After turning in a time of 24.37 in the women's 200m, Jordyn Parker established a new PR and the ninth-best mark in Wolfpack history.
Throws
Makala Wright threw 56.30m in the women's hammer throw to finish in seventh place.
Jumps
In the men's high jump, Judd Armstrong turned in a leap of 1.96m to finish in a tie for ninth.
