Baseball Welcomes Campbell Tuesday

RALEIGH – NC State baseball (2-4) continues a 10-game home stand Tuesday when it hosts Campbell (4-2) in a midweek contest at Doak Field at Dail Park. First pitch is set for 3 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on the ACC Network with Roy Philpott (play-by-play) and Adam Greenberg (color) on the call.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
With the recent updates to capacity guidelines for Doak Field at Dail Park, NC State Athletics is able to increase fan attendance for the remainder of the season. NC State student-athletes, NC State students and NC State baseball season ticket holders will all have increased allotments for upcoming games.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Tuesday will mark the 71st time the Wolfpack and Camels have faced each other, as NC State leads 51-18-1 in the all-time series.
The teams last met in the 2019 NCAA Greenville Regional on May 31, 2019 in Greenville, N.C., and Campbell topped NC State, 5-4.
The record of the last 10 meetings between the teams is split at 5-5.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State suffered a series sweep (9-2, 8-3, 8-4) to Georgia Tech last weekend at home in its first conference test of the season.
HOME RUN MACHINE
Luca Tresh has belted five home runs in the team's first six games of the year. He leads the ACC and ranks third in the NCAA in the category.
Additionally, his conference-leading 1.125 slugging percentage ranks 10th in the NCAA.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
In his third season with the Wolfpack, Tyler McDonough has managed to maintain a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. He has earned 83 starts in his 84 game appearances in the infield and outfield.
#PACK9 TO PLAY SEVEN HOME GAMES ON ACC NETWORK
Tuesday's contest will be the first of seven home games this season on the ACC Network. Times to several of them have been altered due to the respective network's broadcast schedule.
The Camels hosted Liberty and Dayton in three-game sets during the first two weekends of competition and managed to win both series. The squad outscored its opponents 44-16 in the combined six games contested.
Starting pitcher Cade Boxrucker made his first collegiate appearance on Feb. 20 vs. Liberty and threw one hitless inning. As a whole, Campbell's bullpen owns a 1.93 earned-run average in the early part of the season.
At the plate, the Camels rank second in the Big South Conference with a .294 clip, led by Matthew Christian and Spencer Packard with eight hits apiece. The team leads the conference with 15 stolen bases, 15 doubles and six home runs, and those numbers rank 10th, 29th and 58th nationally, in respective order.
