NC State Posts Big Outings to Round Out Regular Season

RALEIGH - The NC State track & field team finished its regular-season slate on Saturday, wrapping up action at the Virginia Tech Challenge and Camel City Invite.
CAMEL CITY INVITE
Hannah Steelman posted the biggest performance of the day for the Wolfpack as she competed in the women's elite 3000m. The senior recorded a 9:05.33 to take second place at the meet. The time checked into the national rankings at No. 11 and the ACC rankings at No. 2.
In the women's mile, Savannah Shaw tabbed third place. The junior's time of 4:42.38 was her season-best and put her at fifth in ACC.
VIRGINIA TECH CHALLENGE
Senior Michelle Cobb posted a first-place effort in the women's triple jump with a 43'2.5" (13.17m). The jump was Cobb' season best and put her at No. 15 in the nation as well as third in the conference.

NC State travels to Clemson, S.C., to compete at the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships Feb. 25-27.
