Track and Field Posts Career Marks at Tiger Paw Invitational

The Pack Recorded Nine Personal-Bests
CLEMSON, S.C. – The NC State men's and women's track and field teams posted nine personal-bests to conclude competition at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invite on Saturday at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex.
Throws: Tyson Fortenberry and Gabriel King threw for personal-bests in men's weight throw with marks of 17.31m and 14.97m.
Jumps: Jamar Davis recorded a 50'2.75" (15.31m) mark in men's triple jump, while JaTory Reid competed in men's high jump, posting a 6'4.75" (1.95m) jump.
Sprints: In the women's 200m dash, Gabriele Cunningham clocked the second-fastest time in school history and a personal-best 23.83. Cunningham's time was followed by McKenzie Long's personal-best 23.99, which ranks fourth in the NC State records books. Long's time is the fastest by a freshman in school history. Janel Pate's 200m time of 24.74 is her fastest of the season.
Quashawn Cunningham posted a 21.18, a season-best, in the men's 200m dash and Will Hoffmann turned in a 22.41, his personal-best.
Mid-Distance: Three of four runners representing the Pack in the women's 800m set personal-bests (Emma Ferguson, Janay Hall, Anna Vess).
In the men's 800m, Ares Epps recorded a personal-best 1:54.17 to lead the Pack in the race.
