Cravont Charleston's 60m dash time is fastest in the nation
LUBBOCK, Texas --Â Gabriele Cunningham and Cravont Charleston outran their own school records in the women's and men's 60m dash on Friday at the Texas Tech Classic in Lubbock, Texas.Â

Cunningham bested her former school record time of 7.31 by running a 7.23 to take second place in the 60m dash final. Charleston followed up Cunningham's performance by earning a gold-medal finish with a school record time of 6.56. His time stands as the fastest in the nation.

Throws:Â Lauren Evans has placed on the podium in the last nine events she has competed in. Her 61'10.25" (18.85m) throw earned her bronze-medal honors in women's weight throw.
Sprints:Â The men's and women's 60m dash school records fell, as Charleston and Cunningham reset their own records. Cunningham also qualified for the women's 60m hurdles final, posting an 8.22 mark in the finals.
Jumps:Â Jamar Davis jumped his way to a personal-best in men's triple jump with a 50'4.5" (15.25m) mark. In women's triple jump, Michelle Cobb recorded a 40'7" (12.37m) jump.
