Wolfpack Men Open NCAA East First Round with Quarterfinal Qualifier

LEXINGTON, Ky - The Wolfpack men opened competition at the NCAA East First round on Wednesday, competing in the javelin, long jump, 400m and 400m hurdles.

Highlighting the day for NC State was Xavier Branker, who after finishing 21st in the 400m hurdles, will advance to the quarterfinals and race again on Friday at 7:25 pm.

UP NEXT
On day two of the NCAA East Region, Sadie Engelhardt and Brooke Rauber will compete in the first round of the 1500m. They look to finish in the top-24 to advance to the quarterfinals on Saturday. Briley Bickerstaff will compete in the semifinals of the 10,000m.
