Track & Field Earns 10 Top-Three Finishes at Aggie Classic

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The NC State track & field team dominated at the Aggie Classic May 1-2, coming away with 10 top-three final finishes and two top-10 program best marks.
On the first day of the Aggie Classic, Jakerra Covington and Bradley Pawlak both finished second in their respective events, javelin and discus.
Hannah Komukyeya and Alexis Mayhew also delivered standout performances, recording personal bests in the 400m hurdles that rank third and eighth all-time in program history.
For the men, Rance Springs finishes second in the 400 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 52.05.
The Wolfpack was on a roll during day two, which was highlighted by multiple top-three finishes.
Christian Parker sprinted to a first-place finish in the men's 400m with a time of 46.89.
James Coleman added a third-place finish in the men's 110m hurdle finals in 14.20, after advancing through prelims.
In the field, Tony Taylor II earned a runner-up finish in the men's hammer with a mark of 53.26m.
The women also contributed top three finish efforts, with Molly Canon placing third in the 800m (2:15.58) and Shauné Ingraham taking third in the 400m (55.11).
The Pack rounded out the day, dominating in the relays, as the women's 4x400 team claimed the top spot in 3:45.65, while the men's 4x400 team secured another victory in 3:14.16.
