Wolfpack Set for Trio of Meets Across North Carolina and Virginia

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Wolfpack will have athletes competing in three meets across North Carolina and Virginia this weekend as the team will be represented at the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Va., the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C. and the NC A&T Aggie Invitational in Greensboro, N.C.

LAST TIME OUT
The red and white of NC State shone bright in Durham at the Duke Invitational. The event included one school record broken, nine podium finishes and 18 personal best marks.
Sadie Engelhardt delivered a historic run, clocking 2:02.31 to finish second overall while setting a new school record in the event.
On the track, the men's 4x400 relay team of Palmer Smith, Rance Springs, James Coleman and Christian Parker raced to a first-place finish in 3:08.49.
Brooke Rauber ran a personal-best and top-10 program history time, crossing the finish line in 4:13.56, earning a third-place finish.
Field events proved to be a major strength for the Wolfpack. Ryan John claimed the triple jump title with a mark of 15.57m, followed closely by David Coles in second (15.51m). On the women's side, Mariama Hunt finished second with a mark of 12.57m.
In the long jump, Tyson Adams added a runner-up finish (7.42m), while Elyssia Fisher posted a personal-best 6.15m to place second.
Judd Armstrong came away with a strong third-place finish in the high jump, clearing a height of 2.06m, which equals his personal best mark.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Wolfpack currently has 20 athletes ranked among 11 events in the top-48 of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Region. The track & field team also has 5 event squads ranked in the top-25 of the NCAA. Check out all of our national rankings here!
