#11 Women’s Tennis Set to Face #23 Florida in ITA Kickoff Weekend Championship

RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 11 NC State women's tennis team will face No. 23 Florida in the ITA Kickoff Weekend Championship on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. After the Gators defeated Ole Miss in Monday's opening match, the Wolfpack will take on UF at 2 p.m. with a berth in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships on the line.
Admission is free for all regular-season home matches. Fans planning to attend Tuesday's match must obtain a virtual parking permit. Instructions for registering for the permit can be found here.
The championship dual will be available for live scoring via StatBroadcast and streamed on Track Tennis.
About ITA Kickoff Weekend
ITA Kickoff Weekend is one of the marquee events of the spring season, bringing together the nation's top 56 men's and women's college tennis teams. Hosted by 14 programs per gender, the event serves as an early-season test against non-conference opponents' teams may not typically face.
NC State opened its 2026 spring campaign with four home victories over ETSU, Campbell, NC Central and UNC Greensboro. The Pack swept all four matches by identical 7-0 scores and did not drop a single set in either singles or doubles play throughout the weekend.
In singles action, No. 60 Anna Zyryanova, No. 29 Gabriella Broadfoot, No. 38 Lavinia Tanasie, Jasmine Conway, No. 31 Mia Slama and Victoria Osuigwe competed in all four matches, each finishing the weekend with perfect 4-0 records. Broadfoot and Slama split time at the No. 1 position in the lineup.
In doubles, 2025 NCAA Doubles Champions No. 4 Broadfoot and Osuigwe returned to the court at the top spot, winning all of their completed matches. NC State also fielded the pairings of No. 40 Zyryanova and Conway at No. 2 and Tanasie and Slama at No. 3 throughout the weekend.

In Monday's semifinal, the Gators defeated Ole Miss, 4-2, to advance to the championship dual against host NC State. Florida is the only ranked opponent competing in Raleigh this weekend.

With more than just bragging rights on the line, all 112 competing teams are vying for one of 14 berths per gender in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. The winner of the NC State regional will advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, scheduled for Feb. 6-9 in Champaign or Evanston, Ill.
