#11 Pack Continues Streak of Sweeps Against NC Central, UNCG

RALEIGH, N.C. - The No. 11 NC State women's tennis team remained perfect on the season Sunday, sweeping both NC Central and UNC Greensboro by matching 7-0 scores at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. The Wolfpack improved to 4-0 on the year and has yet to drop a point or a set through its first four matches.
Against NC Central, NC State cruised through doubles and singles play without dropping a set. No. 38 Lavinia Tanasie highlighted singles action with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 spot, while No. 29 Gabriella Broadfoot clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.
The Pack carried its momentum into the afternoon match against UNC Greensboro, opening with a dominant doubles point as all three courts posted 6-0 wins. In singles, Broadfoot clinched for the second time on the day, earning a 6-1, 6-3 victory at the No. 2 position.
NC State has opened the season 4-0 for the second time in three seasons, after beginning the 2024 campaign with seven consecutive wins.
