Pack Gears Up for Doc Hale VT Invitational

RALEIGH - The NC State track and field team will return to the indoor track tomorrow as it opens competition at the Doc Hale Virginia Tech Invitational in Blacksburg, Virginia.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack is coming off of an eventful weekend in which it competed in the Camel City Invitational, Bob Pollock Invitational, and BU Terrier Classic.
Freshman Angelina Napoleon stole the show at the Camel City Invite, setting a new school record for the 800m with a first-place mark of 2:07.46. More success came the Pack's way in Winston-Salem with Alyssa Hendrix winning the women's 3000m with a time of 9:43.62.Â
On the men's side of the 3000m, NC State managed to sweep the podium, led by JJ Malach who set a new personal best with a time of 8:12.46 that earned him first overall. Kevin Antczak came in second after clocking in at 8:12.92 and Dan McGoey took third with a PR-time of 8:16.24.
At the Bob Pollock Invite in Clemson, Amaris Tyynismaa took bronze in the women's 3000m invitational with a third-place time of 9:14.37.
Sam Bush (15:53.15) and Grace Hartman (16:09.11) each competed in the 5000m at the BU Terrier Classic, finishing seventh and tenth, respectively.
