Pack Earns Three Top-10 Finishes and New Personal Best on Final Day of Hokie Invite

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The NC State track and field team returned to action today, competing in the second day of the Hokie Invitational.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Jumps
In the men's high jump, Kyzaiah Stone finished in a tie for third after leaping 2.09m, a season best. Judd Armstrong also competed for NC State, finishing fifth with a mark of 1.99m.
Jayda Hunter found her way into the top-five finishers in the women's triple jump after tallying a leap of 12.50m that was good for fourth place. Jirah Sidberry also competed in the event and turned in a jump of 11.94m to finish seventh.
Throws
Nathan Lau picked up a new personal best mark in the men's shot put after submitting a throw of 15.51m that earned him seventh place.
Middle Distance
After clocking in at 50.19, Quentin Clarke finished in eighth place in the men's 400m.

The Pack returns to action on Friday, January 26 as it opens action at the Bob Pollock Meet in Clemson, S.C. and the Camel City Invite in Winston-Salem, N.C.
