Wolfpack Hosts High Point for Senior Night

RALEIGH – The No. 20 NC State women's soccer team (4-1-3) opens its four-game home stand against High Point on Thursday night. Thursday's match at Dail Soccer Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
NC State's match against the Panthers will be broadcasted live on ACC Network. Live stats will also be available via StatBroadcast.
SENIOR NIGHT AT THE DAIL
NC State will honor five seniors around 30 minutes prior to Thursday night's match against High Point — Eden Millan, Leyah Hall-Robinson, Jaiden Thomas, Jameese Joseph and Alexis Strickland.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State secured an undefeated road nonconference record (1-0-2) with a scoreless draw at No. 4 South Carolilna on Sunday. The Wolfpack shut out the Gamecocks for just the second time this season, marking goalkeeper Maria Echezarreta's fourth clean sheet of the season. Alexis Strickland, Brianna Weber and Annika Wohner each recorded shots in the 0-0 draw.
SERIES HISTORY
NC State and High Point have faced off 11 times with the Wolfpack holding a 10-0-1 advantage in the all-time series. Head coach Tim Santoro is 1-0 against the Panthers, earning a 4-2 win in Raleigh on Sept. 1, 2016. All 11 matchups have been played in 2000 or later.

High Point notched its first win of the season Sunday with a 3-1 home victory over Richmond. The win also marked first-year head coach Aaron McGuinness' first win with the Panthers. High Point has also earned draws against Marshall and American. Sam Gerhart leads the Panthers with two goals, two assists and six points.
