#Pack9 Returns Home Tuesday For Midweek Contest With UNCW

RALEIGH – NC State baseball (19-11) will return home Tuesday following a six-game road swing as it welcomes UNCW (18-12) to Doak Field at Dail Park for a midweek contest. This will be the first of two meetings this season between the teams, with first pitch set for 6 p.m.
The game will be broadcast on ACCNX and there will be an audio stream on WKNC 88.1 and the Varsity Network App.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State traveled to No. 23 Virginia Tech last weekend for a three-game series and dropped the first two games to suffer its first-ever series loss to the Hokies.
The Pack managed to salvage the series on Sunday with a 10-3 win to remain at .500 in conference play.

Tuesday will be the 94th meeting between NC State and UNCW, as the Pack leads the all-time series, 74-19.

Senior left-handed pitcher Canaan Silver made his first start of the season on Sunday at Virginia Tech and had a dominant outing, allowing just one earned run on two hits in six innings of work.
He has been efficient in his last five outings, allowing just eight hits and four walks while surrendering one earned run in 18.1 innings of work. He has additionally tallied 17 strikeouts in that span.
SOLE TRAIN
Noah Soles has been on a tear at the plate over the last two weekends, going 14-for-23 in six games for a .609 clip. He has tallied multiple hits along with at least one run batted in in five of those six games.
