RALEIGH - The NC State track & field teams finished competition at the Raleigh Relays on Saturday, earning multiple PRs and a third-place finish.
DISTANCE
The men's 800m saw a pair of PRs. Zach Hughes posted a 1:51.93, and Jake Toomey ran a time of 1:53.48.
JUMPS
Nahsheeda Facey recorded a PR in the women's long jump, notching a 5.26m (17'3.25") mark.
SPRINTS
The men's 4x100m relay team of Henry Young, Von Douglas, Alan Alvarez and Cameron Murray tabbed a third-place finish with their time of 40.60.
Alvarez ran a personal-best time in the men's 200m, clocking a 21.26., and Isaiah Gadson's 21.43 was also good for a PR.Â
THROWS
Andrew Haberman entered the NC State record book in the men's hammer throw, tossing for a mark of 58.97m (193'5") that checks in as fourth-farthest in program.
All three competitors in the women's hammer throw set PRs. Makala Wright led the way with a 51.20m (168'0") that ranks as the best throw in program history.
Kayla Beasley's toss of 46.47m (152'5") was a PR, and Mahkayla Hart's mark of 40.80m (133'10") was a personal best.
