Track & Field Set for Hokie Invitational

RALEIGH - The NC State track & field teams will make the trip to Blacksburg, Va., Jan 21-22 to compete in the Hokie Invitational. The meet marks NC State's second trip to Virginia Tech in the 2022 season.

A group of Wolfpack competitors competed at the VT Invitational at Virginia Tech Jan. 14-15.Â
Jada Griffin opened her 2022 season with a school record in the 300m, running a 38.29. She garnered first place in the event. Michelle Cobb tabbed a podium finish and PR in the women's triple jump, placing second with her jump of 12.21m (40'0.75").
Von Douglas and Jamar Davis each earned podium finishes in the men's long jump. Douglas jumped for a personal-best 7.96m (26'1.5") to take first place while Davis' PR of 7.67m (25'2") for third.
UP NEXT
NC State will travel to Clemson, S.C., to compete at the Bob Pollock Meet Jan. 28-29.
