The Wolfpack matched its season high in hits with 18 in the contest, and its 20 runs are the most it has scored against an ACC opponent since March 9, 2019, when the squad earned a 21-3 victory over Pittsburgh in Raleigh.
Friday's victory additionally marks the team's third straight and improves its road record to a perfect 6-0 on the season.
The Pack jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning on as many hits and a pair of errors. After Jose Torres and Terrell Tatum got into scoring position thanks to a pair of base hits to start the side, Devonte Brown laced a single to right field to plate the first run. A failed pickoff attempt and a sacrifice fly from Austin Murr added the other two runs in the frame.
In the third, Jonny Butler led off with his first triple of the season to right field and then scored on Luca Tresh's single to left field. Vojtech Mensik then belted a two-run home run to left field, his second of the year, to make it 6-0 in favor of NC State.
Tatum's RBI single to center field in the fifth and Murr's second sacrifice fly of the day to center field in the sixth tacked a run in each inning to give the Pack an 8-0 advantage.
The Eagles got on the board in its half of the sixth, cutting its deficit five, thanks to Cody Morissette's sacrifice fly to left field and RBI hits by Luke Gold Jack Cunningham.
An inning later, Tresh launched a solo shot over the left field wall, his team-leading eighth of the season, and then Brown drove in a run with his bases-loaded groundout to give the Pack a 10-3 advantage.
Boston College looked to chip away at its deficit again in its half of the seventh, tacking on a run when Sam Frelick's single up the middle knocked in Cameron Leary from second.
In the eighth, the Pack erupted for 10 runs on seven hits, including three extra-base hits, to take a commanding 20-4 lead heading into the final frames of the game.
Chris Galland homered to left field in the ninth to get one back late for the Eagles, but it wasn't enough to make a dent in its deficit.
