
Wolfpack Set for Pair of Meets

RALEIGH - The NC State track and field team will compete at two meets Feb. 19-20 with some of the squad traveling to Blacksburg, Va., for the Virginia Tech Challenge while other members of the team compete at the Camel City Invite in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The Wolfpack will send six student-athletes to the Virginia Tech Challenge where it will compete in eight events and eight to the Camel City Invite where it will compete in six.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State competed at the Tiger Paw Invite, where several members of the squad set PRs.
Joshua Brockman highlighted the Wolfpack's sprint efforts, posting a time of 7.86 in the 60m hurdles that was not only a PR but additionally the second-fastest time in program history. His mark ranks at third-best in the ACC.
Von Douglas tabbed a second-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 25'4.75" (7.74m). The jump was a personal best for the senior and was the fourth-best in NC State history. Douglas' long jump sits at ninth-best in the nation and third-best in the ACC.
Michelle Cobb tabbed a second-place finish in the women's triple jump with a mark of 42'4.25" (12.91m) at the meet.Â
