Wolfpack Wraps Up Action at JDL College Kick-off

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The NC State men's track & field program wrapped up its first weekend of competition on Sunday, competing at the Winston-Salem College Kick-off.
A pair of men's throwers competed at the meet as Andrew Haberman and Lance Penegar traveled to Winston-Salem.
Penegar opened his college career at the meet, first competing in the shot put. The Monroe, N.C., native posted a sixth-place finish with his mark of 14.89m (48'10.25").
Both Penegar and Haberman competed in the weight throw, and in Haberman's Wolfpack debut he placed third with a personal-best mark of 17.19m (56'4.75"). Penegar notched an eighth-place finish in the event with a 16.15m (53'0") throw.
