
Women’s Soccer To Host Duquesne Sunday

RALEIGH – No. 14 NC State women's soccer (2-2-0) returns to action Sunday when it welcomes Duquesne (1-1-2) to Dail Soccer Stadium for a 1 p.m. matchup.
The first-ever meeting between the squads will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.

The Wolfpack opened its home slate on Friday and dropped a 1-0 decision to Iowa.
SCOUTING DUQUESNE
The Dukes are currently on a three-game undefeated streak after earning a 2-1 (2OT) win versus Lehigh in its last time out. Duquesne also battled to a pair of 1-1 draws versus Loyola Marymount and Appalachian State.
Lauren Bell and Megan Virgin recently garnered Atlantic 10 weekly honors after the team picked up its first win of the year.
Deena Debaldo leads the team with two goals, while Bell and Alex Saturni have scored one apiece. Virgin has played every minute in goal so far this season, allowing five goals and compiling an .855 save percentage.
UP NEXT
NC State will travel to Minnesota, its second B1G opponent of the year, on Sept. 12. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET at the Elizabeth Lyle Robbie stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. The match will be broadcast on the B1G Network.
