Pack Concludes Competition at Tom Jones Memorial

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The NC State track and field team concluded competition at the Tom Jones Memorial on Saturday in Gainesville, Fla. The Pack hit six ACC Outdoor Championship qualifying standards.
Sprints: In the 100m hurdles finals, Gabriele Cunningham took fourth place with a time of 13.16. She was the third collegiate sprinter to cross the finish line.
Cunningham clocked in at 13.32 in the prelims, posting the fifth-fastest time to qualify for the finals.
Both of Cunningham's times are faster than the ACC Outdoor Championship qualifying standard (13.78).
In the men's 400m dash, Shannon Patterson set a new personal-best with a time of 47.35, faster than the conference qualifying mark (47.45).
Cravont Charleston set the tone for the Pack in the men's 100m dash. His time of 10.17 stands at t-10th nationally. Teammate Quashawn Cunningham clocked in at 10.43. Charleston and Cunningham outran the conference qualifying standard (10.69).
Relays: The men's 4x100m relay took home fourth-place honors with a time of 39.83, the fastest time for the team this season.
Jumps: Javonne Antoine recorded a 40'10.25" (12.45m) mark in the women's triple jump competition. Securing an eighth-place finish on Saturday, Antoine has posted a top-10 finish in all five meets she has competed in triple jump. She outperformed the conference qualifying standard for the third time in the 2019 campaign.
Jamar Davis recorded a top-10 finish in triple jump with a 50'0" (15.24m) mark. His performance outjumped the conference qualifying mark (14.39m). Davis posted the third-best mark of collegiate jumpers.
