
Women’s Golf Closes Out Fall Slate This Weekend At Landfall Tradition

RALEIGH – The NC State women's golf team will close out its fall slate this weekend when it travels to Wilmington, N.C., for the Landfall Tradition. The tournament will run Friday through Sunday at the Country Club of Landfall, hosted by UNCW.
Thirteen of the 18 teams in the tournament field are ranked among the top 50 of the first GolfStat.com poll of the 2019-20 season (released Oct. 15), including seven in the top 25.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Course: Country Club of Landfall (Dye Course)
Par: 72
Yardage: 6,140
Format: 54 holes (18 holes Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Tee Times: Teams will tee off holes one and 10 between 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. Friday and Saturday, while Sunday will be an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start

The Wolfpack finished 17th out of 18 teams at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. The squad closed out competition with a 294 (+6) for its best 18-hole score of the weekend, and Lea Klimentova fired a career-low 69 to go out in style.
Inja Fric and Natalie Armbruester additionally shot career low rounds over the weekend as Fric shot a 70 (-2) in round two and Armbruester carded a 72 (E) on the final day.
NC STATE AT THE LANDFALL TRADITION
This will be the 10th consecutive year and 14th time in program history the Pack has competed in the Landfall Tradition. Its best showing was sixth place in 2015 when the team broke the school record for the lowest 18-hole score with a 279 (-9) in the final round.
