The schedule for the meet is as follows:
PACK IN THE POLLS:
NC State enters the weekend with both squads ranked in the top 25 of the national standings. The women check in at No. 6, and the men sit at No. 25.
After becoming ACC champions in 2016 and 2017, the Pack women were chosen to win their third-straight conference title in a preseason vote of the league's head coaches. NC State's women were also selected as preseason favorites to win the Southeast Region title and continue to hold their spot atop the regional rankings. On the men's side, the Wolfpack ranks second in the Southeast Region entering the weekend's meets.
2017 REWIND:
NC State's squads enter the 2018 season coming off of a successful 2017 campaign.
Last season, the Wolfpack women captured both the ACC and the Southeast Regional team crowns for the second year in a row. In its 31st appearance at the NCAA Championships, the team earned its third-straight top-10 finish. Elly Henes gained All-America status with her 32nd-place finish at Nationals, and head coach Laurie Henes was named ACC and and Southeast Region Coach of the Year.
The Pack men, who have finished inside the top three at 27 of the last 29 conference meets, took home third place at the 2017 ACC Championships. After receiving an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships, the team earned its highest national finish since 2011, placing 18th.
UP NEXT:
