RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State baseball team will host the UNCW Seahawks in its final non-conference midweek game of the season Wednesday evening. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Doak Field at Dail Park.

The game will be broadcast live on the ACC Network Extra, accessible through Watch ESPN and the Watch ESPN App. Radio coverage will also be available on WKNC 88.1 FM and on GoPack.com for premium subscribers.

NC State heads into the matchup with a 27-21 overall record, while UNCW is 24-22 in games this season. Wednesday's contest will be the second meeting between the teams this season, as the Pack looks to complete the season sweep after earning an 8-5 victory in Wilmington on March 8.

Last Time Out
In its last outing, the Wolfpack dropped a 5-4 decision against the Delaware Blue Hens after collecting wins on Friday and Saturday to clinch the series. UNCW defeated Northeastern, 7-3, in its most recent game on Sunday at home. The Seahawks will travel to Coastal Carolina on Tuesday evening before heading to Raleigh Wednesday.

NC State leads the all-time series with UNCW, 67-19, and has won 10 of the last 11 meetings including the Wolfpack's 8-5 win earlier this season.

Last Time Versus UNCW
NC State homered past UNCW in the first meeting of the season, as the Wolfpack belted three homers in the contest, a season high at the time. Will Wilson and Josh McLain led the Wolfpack at the plate in that game, each with a pair of hits and two RBI. Joe O'Donnell picked up the win with 1.2 innings in relief, while Austin Staley slammed the door to record the save.

Scouting UNCW
UNCW has won six of its last seven games heading into Tuesday's matchup at Coastal Carolina. The Seahawks are 24-22 overall, but have struggled on the road with a 3-11 mark in away games.

Brian Mims leads the squad offensively with a .331 batting average to go along with 58 hits, while Casey Golden is second on the team with a .315 clip and a team-high 14 home runs. As a team, the Seahawks average 6.22 runs per game and 9.13 hits per contest.

UNCW's pitching staff has compiled a 4.74 ERA.
