RALEIGH, N.C. – After splitting a pair of midweek games, the sixth-ranked NC State baseball team is set to play three games this weekend. The Wolfpack will play Rhode Island at home Friday, Maryland on Saturday at the USA Baseball Complex and UMass Lowell Sunday afternoon, also at home.
Friday's game against the Rams is slated for 3 p.m. at Doak Field at Dail Park, while the Wolfpack will play Maryland Saturday at 4:30 p.m. as part of the Irish Classic hosted by Notre Dame in Cary, N.C., at the USA Baseball Complex. First pitch of Sunday's contest versus UMass Lowell is set for 1 p.m.
Both of the Pack's home games (Friday and Sunday) will be broadcast live on the ACC Network Extra. There will not be a live stream of Saturday's game, but fans can listen to all three games this weekend with radio coverage on WKNC 88.1 FM and on GoPack.com for premium subscribers.
NC State heads into the weekend with a 5-3 overall record, while Rhode Island is 3-4 and Maryland is 1-5. The River Hawks of UMass Lowell currently own a 3-4 ledger.
Last Time Out
In its last outing, NC State dropped a narrow 6-5 decision against Charlotte on Wednesday night at home. The Wolfpack took an early lead, but the 49ers scored a few runs late to earn the victory.

The Rams won the 2016 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship and were selected to repeat in the conference's preseason poll by the league's head coaches.
