NC State is sending a small group of sprinters and hurdlers to compete. The group will aim to advance through the prelims and earn a spot in the marque final sections.
Stanford Invitational:
Most of the distance squad has the weekend off, but Luis Vargas, Meron Simon and Graham Crawford are heading to Palo Alto, Calif., for the highly-competitive Stanford Invitational. All three will run in 5,000m races. The meet has been a distance-dominated meet and gives its entries the chance to compete with the best distance runners in the country as well as a slew of professional athletes.
