From The Coach's Perspective
"Coming off of a nice win at home last weekend we're excited to head up to Pittsburgh for our conference championship. I believe there are four teams in the mix that have a great shot at winning the team title depending on how everyone else does," said head coach Mark Stevenson.
"There are a number of talented teams and gymnasts that our girls will face this weekend, but believe that if we achieve our team and individual goals we have potential for a lot of success."Â
Last Time Out
The Wolfpack ended its regular season with a 15-2 record after taking down Ball State, 195.900-194.775, on March 12 in front of the first home crowd the team saw this year.Â

George Washington (No. 23) and New Hampshire (No. 32) lead the conference standings with 24-4 (8-2 EAGL) and 12-9 (3-2 EAGL) records, in respective order.Â
The Pack defeated George Washington, who tops the league, twice this season to help secure its 6-0 EAGL ledger, as NC State is the only team in the conference that holds an undefeated league record. New Hampshire, who ranks second in the conference, will be the only team the Wolfpack has yet to face heading into this weekend's championship meet.
NC State has also faced tobacco road rival UNC-CH twice on the road in 2016, capturing back-to-back wins. In the Pack's first meet inside Carmichael Arena the team also earned a 194.900-193.350 win over Pittsburgh and in its final quad meet of 2016 at Towson the Pack clinched a 195.925-194.550 victory over the Tigers.
