The Pack delivered a historic performance against then No. 12 UNC, tying its highest bars score in program history, matching the fifth-best floor mark ever, and recording a tie for the sixth-highest team score in program history in a 197.125-196.525 victory. Syniya Thomas highlighted the night with a 9.975 on floor, tied for the second-highest score in program history and the first 9.975 by a Pack gymnast since Chloe Negrete on March 7, 2025.
The 197.125 marked NC State's highest score of the season and its first 197.000+ performance since March 7, 2025. The win was the Pack's third overall and third in ACC action, extending its winning streak over UNC to five straight duals.
NC State placed nine gymnasts on the podium across four events, including event titles from Thomas on beam and floor.
