
No. 20 NC State to Host No. 23 Ohio State in Final Home Meet of the Season

RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 20 NC State is set to host its final home meet of the season against No. 23 Ohio State in its Annual Senior Night on Friday, March 7, at Reynolds Coliseum. The meet will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State finished third in the Iowa State tri-meet Friday night, scoring 195.000. Iowa State secured second place with a 195.775, while Denver swept all four podiums and three events with a 196.750 at Hilton Coliseum.
Head coach Kim Landrus made her return to Hilton Coliseum as a coach for the first time since her distinguished collegiate career at Iowa State. Landrus made history with the Cyclones, earning the first perfect 10 on floor to help Iowa State claim the Big 12 conference title. She was also the program's first-ever NCAA qualifier, a two-time Academic All-American, and Iowa State's Female Athlete of the Year in 1997.
NC State posted two podium finishes in the meet. Ashley Knight placed third on vault with a 9.875, while Chloe Negrete finished second on beam with a 9.825.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Peyton Childs
A dedicated four-year gymnast, Peyton has been a bars and beam specialist for the Pack. She earned All-EAGL Scholastic Team honors in 2022, All-ACC Academic Team honors in 2024, and is a three-time WCGA All-American. She has secured four podium finishes and posted 11 scores of 9.800+ on bars, with a career-high of 9.850. Peyton will graduate in May with a degree in Human Biology.
As a beam specialist, Macy achieved a career-high 9.900 in a victory over North Carolina and at the 2024 ACC Championships. She was named to the 2024 All-ACC Gymnastics Team and has reached the podium seven times, including two first-place finishes. Macy has earned multiple honors, including 2022 All-EAGL Second Team, 2023 EAGL All-Tournament Second Team, and 2024 All-ACC Gymnastics Team. She will graduate with a degree in Business Marketing.
Lucy Lehman
A dedicated four-year member, Lucy has competed on vault, achieving a career-high 9.825 in 2022. Despite setbacks in 2023 and 2024, she has remained a vital team leader. Lucy is a two-time All-EAGL Scholastic Team honoree and a 2023 WCGA All-American. She will graduate with a degree in Biology.
Brooke has been a committed member of NC State Gymnastics for four years. She was a two-time All-EAGL Scholastic Team member in 2022 and 2023 and was named a WCGA Academic All-American in 2022. This season, she made her beam debut with an impressive 9.875, finishing third in NC State's victory over UNC. Brooke will graduate with a degree in Communication.
Krista joined NC State in 2023 and quickly became a key competitor on vault, beam, and floor. She has nine podium finishes, with career highs of 9.900 on floor, 9.850 on vault, and 9.875 on beam. She has hit 9.800+ 22 times on floor, eight times on beam, and nine times on vault. Academically, Krista is a 2024 ACC All-Academic Team member, a three-time WCGA Academic All-American, and a 2023 All-EAGL Scholastic Team honoree. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science in 2024 and is now pursuing a graduate certificate in Youth Development and Leadership.
A standout for NC State, Chloe made history by recording the first 9.975 on floor in program history on March 4 against Rutgers. She also set NC State's record for most 9.900+ scores on floor in a season (16) and achieved a career-best 9.975 on beam against UNC. Chloe is the 2024 ACC Beam Champion, 2024 ACC Floor Champion, and was named 2024 ACC Specialist of the Year. She was also honored as the 2024 ACC Gymnastics Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Academically, Chloe is a WCGA Academic All-American with a 4.0 GPA. She earned her B.S. in Sport Management (minor in Psychology) in 2023 and is currently completing her M.S. in Parks, Recreation, Tourism, and Sport Management, along with two graduate certificates in Sport & Entertainment Venue Management and Leadership & Volunteer Management.
