
No. 11 Wolfpack Ready to Host Clemson and Georgia Tech in Home Weekend Matchups

RALEIGH, NC -Â Undefeated at home, the No. 11 NC State women's tennis team will host No. 30 Clemson on Friday, March 28 at 3:00 PM and No. 25 Georgia Tech on Sunday, March 30 at noon, at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
Fans can follow the action with live results on StatBroadcast, and both matches will be streamed live on Track Tennis. Those attending Friday's match are reminded to obtain a virtual parking permit upon arrival. Instructions for parking can be found HERE.

The Wolfpack enter the weekend with an overall record of 9-5 and a 4-2 mark in conference play. NC State's No. 2 doubles team, Gabriella Broadfoot and Maddy Zampardo, is currently riding a 10-match winning streak, remaining undefeated in conference action. In singles, NC State is represented by No. 27 freshman Michaelae Laki, No. 121 Mia Slama, and No. 99 sophomore Maddy Zampardo.
Scouting the Tigers:
Friday's matchup will be the 30th meeting between the two teams, with Clemson leading the series 17-12. However, the Wolfpack has won the last 10 matchups and will look to continue their dominance. The Tigers are ranked No. 30 in the latest ITA rankings and feature No. 124 Sophia Hatton in singles. In doubles, Clemson boasts the No. 43 pairing of Candela Yecora & Romana Cisovska, as well as the No. 80 duo of Amelia Smejaklova & Gaia Parravicini.
Scouting the Yellow Jackets:
Sunday's contest will mark the 28th meeting between NC State and Georgia Tech, with the Yellow Jackets holding a 22-5 advantage in the series. The Wolfpack, currently on a four-match winning streak, defeated Georgia Tech 5-2 in their most recent meeting last season. Georgia Tech enters the weekend ranked No. 25 in the ITA team rankings and features two ranked singles players: No. 83 Scarlett Nicholson and No. 97 Alejandra Cruz. In doubles, the Yellow Jackets are represented by the No. 62 duo of Alejandra Cruz & Given Roach.
Looking ahead, the Pack will head to Florida for road matches against Florida State on Friday, April 4 at 4:00 PM and Miami on Sunday, April 6 at noon.
