
NC State Set to Begin Outdoor Season

RALEIGH, N.C. – RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State will return to action and begin its outdoor season March 21-22 at the University of Central Florida Black and Gold Invitational in Orlando, Fla., and the UNC Charlotte 49ers Classic in Charlotte, N.C.

Indoor Season is in the Books
NC State had five qualifiers for the NCAA Indoor Championships, with all earning All-American honors for their top-10 performances, finishing 23rd overall. Notably, Grace Hartman competed in the 5,000 meters and recorded the fastest time in NC State history with a personal best of 15:11.10 (6th place), earning first-team All-American honors.
At the ACC Indoor Championships, the women's squad finished 11th, while the men also finished 11th, with five podium finishes and seven All-ACC performers. The women's DMR team of Kate Putman, Jordyn Parker, Angelina Napoleon, and Hannah Gapes earned the victory in a thrilling finish with a time of 10:52.59. Freshman Tyson Adams secured the victory in the long jump with a personal best of 7.76 meters, claiming the championship title and earning first-team All-ACC honors. His performance also earned him the No. 5 spot on NC State's all-time top-10 list for the event.
