
Pack Set to Continue Outdoor Season at Charlotte Invitational, Penn Relays

RALEIGH - The NC State track and field team is set to return to action for a pair of weekend meets as it travels to Philadelphia, PA for the Penn Relays and Charlotte for the Charlotte Invitational.

Brett Gardner earned the win in the men's 3000m steeplechase at the Wake Forest Invite with a time of 8:45.53. In the women's 3000m steeplechase, Angelina Napoleon clocked in at 10:07.11 to take sixth place and establish the fifth-best mark in NC State history.
Sam Bush finished ninth in women's 1500m invitational with a time of 4:10.92 which is now the third-best in the Wolfpack record book. With a time of 4:16.57, Hannah Gapes set a new PR and recorded the 10th-best mark in program history.
In the men's 800m, Zach Hughes finished in 3:42.63 to take third and set the record for the fourth-best mark in school history.
Amaris Tyynismaa turned in a podium-finish in the women's 5000m invitational with a third-place time of 15:40.81.
At the Virginia Challenge, Ally Henson finished third overall in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 13.69.Â
Jordyn Parker ran a time of 24.37 in the women's 200m to record the ninth-best time in Pack history.
