
Four Earn All-ACC Distinction on Final Day of ACC Indoor Championships

BOSTON, MA - The NC State track and field team concluded action at the 2024 ACC Indoor Championships with four athletes earning All-ACC honors.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Middle Distance
Sam Bush achieved First Team All-ACC status in the women's 3000m. The Cincinnati native clocked in at 8:59.14 to finish third and grab her spot on the podium.
The Pack was also represented in the race by Amaris Tyynismaa, who clocked in at 9:06.44 to finish fourth and snag Second Team All-ACC honors, her second All-ACC distinction of the week.
On the men's side of the 3000m, JJ Malach turned in a time of 8:02.30 to set a new personal best.
In the women's mile final, Grace Hartman finished fourth and earned Second Team All-ACC honors with a time of 4:40.33.
Jumps
Jayda Hunter took home the first All-ACC honors of her career in the women's triple jump. With a mark of 12.76m, Hunter claimed fourth place and was named Second Team All-ACC.
Throws
Ta'Honny Exum recorded a throw of 14.12m in the women's shot put to set a new PR.

The Pack returns to action on Friday, March 8 for the first day of the NCAA Indoor Championships.
