Wolfpack Finishes Day Two of ACC Indoors with Individual title and Six New Personal Bests

LOUISVILLE, KY - The NC State track and field team continued action at the ACC Indoor Championships on Friday, highlighted by Jirah Sidberry earning an individual ACC title. Six members of the Wolfpack recorded a new personal best in their respective events.
JUMPS
In the women's long jump, Sidberry started the day off hot, producing a new personal best jump of 6.31m (20'8.50") to earn first place and the ACC Championship for the event. This mark sits at third-best in school history.
Jamar Davis continued the Wolfpack's success in the men's long jump, earning First Team All-ACC honors with a leap of 7.56m (24'9.75"). Cam Murray also took part in the long jump, placing fourth and claiming Second Team All-ACC honors with an effort of 7.47m (24'6.25").
MIDDLE DISTANCE
Grace Hartman finished third in the women's mile prelim, advancing to the final with a time 4:39.42, a new personal best. This is now the seventh-best mark in NC State history. Sam Bush turned in a time of 4:41.03, crossing the finish line immediately after her teammate to earn fourth and accompany her to the final.Â
Wesley Larson earned a new personal best in the men's mile prelim, registering a time of 4:11.04.Â
More personal bests were set to come the Pack's way, as Caroline Lewis delivered her new PR mark of 2:12.00 in the women's 800m to earn the ninth-best time in school history. Patrick Gibbons also got in on the fun, setting a new personal best on the men's side of the 800m with a time of 1:52.60.
SPRINTS
Murray continued his impressive week at the ACC Indoor Championships, this time advancing to the final of the 60m hurdles with a facility record and first place time of 7.67.Â
In the men's 60m prelim, Alex Lang finished second and advanced to the final with his new personal best time of 6.57 (6.561), a mark that now sits at second all-time in Wolfpack history. On the women's side of the 60m prelim, Imunique Archie tied her personal best, clocking in at 7.76.
