
NC State Visits #11 Duke for Final Road Test of Regular Season

RALEIGH – Wolfpack women's basketball (18-9, 8-8 ACC) is set for its last road contest of the 2022-23 regular season as it makes a quick trip to Durham for a Thursday night matchup with 11th-ranked Duke (23-4, 13-3 ACC). The game is set for an 8 p.m. start from Cameron Indoor Stadium and will be televised nationally on the ACC Network.
A WIN ON THURSDAY WOULD
• Be the 1,017th win in program history (1,016-487)
• Be head coach Wes Moore's 799th career win (798-247)
• Be Moore's 241st win at NC State (240-78)
• Mark the Pack's fourth over a ranked opponent this season (3-4)
• Be the 37th against a ranked opponent in the Moore era (36-42) and the 157th over a ranked opponent in program history (156-254)
• Be the Pack's second win over a ranked opponent on the road this season and first ranked ACC win away from home since beating Virginia Tech in last year's regular-season finale

NOTING THE WOLFPACK
• The Pack heads into the final weekend of the regular season ranked eighth in the ACC. NC State could finish as high as sixth place in the league or as low as ninth place with two games remaining in its regular-season schedule.
• NC State is still receiving votes in both the AP and Coaches polls.
• The Wolfpack has defeated three ranked opponents this season in No. 10 Iowa, No. 7 Notre Dame and No. 19 UNC. The Pack's win at Iowa remains the only home loss for the Hawkeyes this season.
• The Pack is wrapping up a stretch of three-straight games against ACC teams ranked in the most recent AP Top 25 – No. 19 North Carolina, at No. 11 Virginia Tech and at No. 11 Duke.

Collins leads the squad with eight double-figure scoring performances against league teams.
• Aziaha James earned the starting nod for the first time in her career in the Pack's Feb. 19 game at Virginia Tech. The sophomore guard scored a career-high 20 points to lead the team, hitting 3-of-6 three pointers (two in the first quarter).
SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 48-38)
• Thursday's game marks the 87th overall meeting between NC State and Duke as two varsity squads. The teams also met on Feb. 15, 1974 before the Wolfpack was a varsity team in a home game that NC State won 64-44.
• With the exception of the 2020-21 season impacted by COVID, the Wolfpack and the Blue Devils have faced off at least once every season since NC State's first as a varsity team in 1974-75.
• NC State is 18-19 in its previous 37 trips to Durham.
