
NC State to Compete in Blessings Collegiate Invitational Event

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – NC State women's golf readies for competition at the fourth annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational presented by Tyson Foods with the exclusive event set to run Oct. 2-4. The Wolfpack women will head to Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark., alongside the men's program as NC State is one of 10 schools to send both its men's and women's teams to participate at the tournament.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT/INFO
The Blessings Collegiate Invitational will be 54 holes of stroke play, with a round of 18 played each day Monday through Wednesday. All teams competing will play in fivesomes, allowing coaches and fans to watch every shot from every hole for their respective team. On Monday, the NC State women's team will tee off at 12:15 p.m. ET (11:15 a.m. local time) from hole one.

PACK FACTS
- NC State's action at the BCI kicks off a packed month during which the Pack will play a total of four tournaments. Following its time in Arkansas, the Wolfpack will also compete at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 9-10), the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championship (Oct. 15-17) and the Landfall Tradition (Oct. 27-29) to round out its fall slate.
- The Pack opened its season at the Cougar Classic on Sept. 11-12. During the tournament, NC State tied its lowest cumulative team score in program history in the first round with a 287 (-6).
- In that first round, NC State was led by Olivares Leon posting the lowest 18-hole score in NCAA women's golf history with a 60. She ended up finishing third in a field of nearly 100 players with her 200 (-13) lowering her own 54-hole program record.
