
Pack Ready for Two-Meet Weekend

RALEIGH - The NC State gymnastics team will welcome East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) opponent Temple to Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum Friday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. for its annual Pink Meet.
The Wolfpack will then travel to Washington, D.C., for a tri-meet at George Washington with Temple Sunday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.
Fans are permitted to attend all home meets in the 2022 season and are required to wear masks for indoor competitions per NC State's University Community Standards.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State earned its second-highest score of the season in a dual meet against North Carolina, posting a 196.350.
Lauren Rutherford garnered an individual title on bars with a career-best 9.875. The freshman additionally tied for second place on floor with Emily Shepard.
Shepard tied for second on all three of her events, and with scores that were all at least 9.825 she was named EAGL Co-Specialist of the Week with LIU's Mara Titarsolej.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
Temple ranks 41st nationally and sixth in the EAGL with a national qualifying score (NQS) of 194.845. In the Owls' last meet, a matchup with Yale, the team posted a 193.825.
Julianna Roland ties for fifth in the EAGL on vault with an NQS of 9.800 while Brooke Donabedian (2nd, 9.850) and Tori Edwards (5th, 9.825) are in the top-five in the league on floor. Freshman Hannah Stallings ranks fifth in the conference in the all-around with her NQS of 38.875.
SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
George Washington checks into the national RoadToNationals Rankings at 39th and ranks fifth in the EAGL with a 195.340 NQS.
Colonials graduate student Deja Chambliss ranks first in the EAGL on vault (9.875 NQS) and floor (9.880 NQS). She additionally ranks fourth in the conference in the all-around with an NQS of 39.045. Rachel Katz is tied for fifth in the league on vault with an NQS of 9.800.
UP NEXT
NC State will compete in another dual-meet weekend, traveling to Rutgers for a quad meet with Southern Connecticut State and Brown March 4 and to Maryland for a quad meet with Yale and William & Mary March 6.
