
Track & Field Closes Out Regular Season at Virginia Tech Challenge

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The NC State track & field teams wrapped up regular-season competition on Saturday, competing at the Virginia Tech Challenge.
Four athletes competed in three events, highlighted by Michelle Cobb's first-place finish in the women's triple jump. Cobb posted a 13.07m (42'10.75"), her best mark of the season.
Lance Penegar represented NC State in the men's shot put, placing fifth with a 15.04m (49'4.25") while Kayla Beasley charted a ninth-place finish in the women's shot put (13.55m, 44'5.5").

NC State turns its attention to the postseason, traveling to Blacksburg, Va., for the 2022 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships Feb. 24-26.
