Pack Travels to Clemson for Bob Pollock Meet

RALEIGH - The NC State track & field teams are slated to travel to Clemson, S.C., Jan. 28-29 to compete at the Bob Pollock Meet.
Twenty-nine athletes will represent the Wolfpack in 26 events.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State recorded an impressive outing at the Hokie Invite, breaking three school records and earning multiple marks that rank in the top 10 nationally.
Sam Bush (1000m), Kelsey Chmiel (Mile) and Kyle Durham (600m) each clocked marks that broke the program records in their respective events.
Chmiel earned a first-place finish in the mile with her mark of 4:36.03 and was joined on the podium by Savannah Shaw. Shaw placed second in the event with a time of 4:39.98.
In the men's mile, Gavin Gaynor recorded an individual title with a 4:00.22. His time checks into the NC State record book as the second-fastest in program history.
Jada Griffin posted another top-tier performance in the women's 300m, placing third with a 38.48.
Bush's 1000m time of 2:43.30 made her the top collegiate finisher in the race and the second finisher overall.
The Wolfpack's women's DMR squad of Bush, Griffin, Anna Vess and Shaw placed second at the meet with an 11:23.59.
UP NEXT
NC State will send competitors to two meets Feb. 4-5. Part of the team will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Camel City Invitational while other student-athletes will compete at VT Elite in Blacksburg, Va.
