Wolfpack 4x100m Squad Concludes Impressive Season at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. - The NC State men's track & field program began action at the NCAA Championships on Wednesday, competing in the 4x100m relay.
Henry Young, Von Douglas, Junpai Dowdy and Alan Alvarez represented the Wolfpack in the event and posted a 39.88 in the event semifinals, clocking the 20th-fastest time overall and placing seventh in their heat.
Each member of the relay squad garnered Honorable Mention All-America honors for their performance at the meet.
The four men competed in the event together in all three of NC State's postseason meets, claiming third place and Second Team All-ACC honors at the 2021 ACC Outdoor Championships and posting the eighth-fastest overall time at the NCAA East Preliminary to qualify to the National Championship.
