Track & Field Posts Multiple Top-10 Program Marks at Duke Twilight

DURHAM, N.C. - The NC State track & field teams wrapped up regular season competition on Monday at Duke Twilight.
Five members of the Wolfpack recorded marks that rank in the top-10 in NC State history while eight members of the team tabbed nine personal bests.
SPRINTS
Brandi Hughes clocked a 13.58 in the women's 100m hurdles that earned her a third-place finish and was additionally good for the fifth-fastest time in NC State history.
Also competing in the women's 100m hurdles was Ally Henson, who posted a personal-best 14.14. The time checks into the Wolfpack record book as the eighth-quickest program mark.
In the women's 400m, Jada Griffin's 54.63 was a PR and the fourth-fastest time in program history.Â
Imunique Archie ran an 11.97 in the women's 100m that was a personal best. She additionally earned a PR of 24.70 in the women's 200m
Alexis Postell tabbed a 1:01.65 in the women's 400m hurdles that earned her a third-place finish in the event.
In the women's 200m competition, Mia D'Ambrosio posted a time of 24.50. Her mark was a PR and the ninth-best time in NC State history.
Henry Young was the final competitor in the running events for the Wolfpack at the meet, and he recorded a 21.77 in the men's 200m to take home second place.
JUMPS
The women's long jump competition saw a personal-best performance by Jirah Sidberry, who posted a 5.86m (19'2.75")Â for the ninth-best long jump in NC State history.
Von Douglas and Chris Alexander took first and third place, respectively, in the men's long jump. Douglas recorded a 7.56m (24'9.75") in the event while Alexander tabbed a 7.37m (24'2.25").
DISTANCE
Anna Vess took home second place in the women's 800m with a time of 2:09.53 while Nevada Mareno claimed third, running a 2:10.94.
In the men's 1500m, Joe Bistritz clocked a 3:46.70 for a personal best. Ian Shanklin also ran a PR with his time of 3:48.40, and JP Flavin posted a personal-best 3:53.56.

The squad sets its sights on the 2021 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. NC State will host the meet at the Paul Derr Track May 13-15.
