Pack Begins Play at ACC Championship on Friday

NC State, ranked 10th nationally, is looking for its first outright ACC men’s golf championship

RALEIGH, N.C. – After one of its most successful spring seasons in program history, the NC State men's golf team heads to Atlanta, Ga., for the ACC Championship.
For the first time in ACC Championship history, the championship will consist of both stroke and match play. The team will play 36 holes on Friday and 18 holes on Saturday. The individual ACC Champion will be determined on Saturday after 54 holes. The top-four teams from stroke play will advance to match play with the semifinals taking place on Sunday and the championship match on Monday.
Monday's match play finals will be carried live on ACCNX beginning at 9 a.m. In addition, a one-hour recap show of the best of the ACC Men's Golf Championship will air on ACC Network Monday, May 3 at 7 p.m.
NC State enters the ACC Championship having won four consecutive tournaments. The four tournament wins are the most for the Pack since the 1982-83 season.
NC State shared the 1990 ACC Title with Clemson, but has never won an outright ACC Championship.
