Pack Posts Podium Performances on Day Two of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH - The Wolfpack track & field teams continued action at the Raleigh Relays on Friday, collecting multiple podium finishes.
JUMPS
Senior Michelle Cobb took home the gold medal in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.73m (41'9.25").
In the men's triple jump, Chris Alexander tabbed a second-place finish. He jumped 15.67m (51'5") to secure the podium placement. The mark ties the eighth-highest jump in program history.
DISTANCE
Freshman Katelyn Tuohy and sophomore Nevada Mareno each posted top-10 marks in the nation in the women's 1500m, taking fourth and sixth in the race, respectively.
Tuohy's time of 4:16.76 ranks third in the nation and is additionally the fourth-fastest time in program history. Mareno ran a personal-best 4:17.32 to replace her own fifth-best mark in NC State history. Her time additionally is fifth-best in the NCAA.
In the women's 5000m, Savannah Shaw tabbed a third-place finish. She was the top finisher among the Wolfpack women with a mark of 15:40.37, good for the third-fastest time in NC state history.
Mariah Howlett posted a personal-best 16:33.74 in the event.
Will Anderson posted the top mark by an NC State runner in the men's 10000m, running a 30:01.30 that was additionally good to improve his PR.
