Wolfpack Concludes Action at First Day of Tiger Paw Invite

CLEMSON, S.C. - The NC State track and field team saw a full day of competition on Friday, competing at the Tiger Paw Invite in Clemson, S.C.
SPRINTS
Both of NC State's competitors in the men's 60m hurdles qualified for the finals, with sophomore Josh Brockman setting a PR in the preliminaries that he tied in the finals (7.86). Brockman tabbed a second-place finish in the event while Cameron Murray claimed third place with a time of 7.94.Â
Brockman's time is third-best in the ACC and additionally ties him for the 19th-best time in the country. Murray's time also checks into the top five in the ACC at fifth. His mark is second-best in program history.
On the women's side, Ally Henson tabbed a personal best in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.55. Freshman Imunique Archie also earned a PR at the meet, posting a 7.87 in the 60m.
JUMPS
Von Douglas led the way for the Wolfpack in the men's long jump, earning a second-place finish with a personal-best 25'4.75" (7.74m) mark. The jump is the fourth-best in program history. Douglas' mark additionally checks in at eighth-best in the NCAA and the second-best in the ACC.
DISTANCE
Ares Epps competed in the Wolfpack's only distance event of the day, clocking a personal-best 4:14.55 in the men's mile.
