Wolfpack to Host North Carolina, New Hampshire in Tri-Meet

RALEIGH - The NC State gymnastics team returns to action in Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum Saturday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. as it hosts East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) opponents New Hampshire and North Carolina in its Pink Meet.

LAST TIME OUT
NC State recorded its second 196.000 or higher score of the season as it visited EAGL opponent Pittsburgh on Saturday, Feb. 8 and notched a 196.025.
Senior Drew Grantham posted a 9.950 on beam at the meet, setting a career high and taking first place. Freshman Chloe Negrete tabbed a second-place finish in the rotation and her first career 9.900 or higher score with a 9.925.
Grantham was the top finisher on floor at the meet with a 9.900 while freshman Emily Shepard tied for first place on vault, posting a 9.875. Shepard has been on the podium on vault at every meet of her college career.
SCOUTING NORTH CAROLINA
The Wolfpack hosted the Tar Heels in a dual meet on Saturday, Feb. 1 in which NC State recorded its season-high score of 196.250. UNC compiled a 194.225 on Saturday, Feb. 7 against Towson. Tar Heels senior Khazia Hislop has been named EAGL Specialist of the Week for five consecutive weeks.
SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE
New Hampshire posted its highest score of the season on Saturday, Feb. 8 with a 195.850. The Wildcats hosted West Virginia, George Washington and Brown in the meet and were the top finisher. Saturday's meet marks the first competition between the Wolfpack and the Wildcats this season.
