RALEIGH – The No. 8 NC State women's tennis team (8-0) is headed to Atlanta, Ga., for a top-10 neutral site showdown with No. 7 Texas (2-0) on Fri., Jan. 31. First serve is set for 10 a.m.

STARTING STRONG:
The team aims to be 9-0 with a win over the Longhorns, which would tie for the program's best start in its history. In 2013, the Pack also started the season 9-0.
1-0 ADVANTAGE:
The Pack has yet to lose a doubles point this season. Six of the eight doubles points have come quick from two consecutive wins, leaving a third court unfinished.
PACK IN THE RANKINGS:
NC State maintains its No. 8 ranking in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I rankings. The rankings announcement Wednesday marked the team's fourth consecutive week in the top 10.
In the USTA poll, the Pack checks in at No. 9.
LAST TIME OUT:
The team advanced to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships after defeating Rice and No. 21 Florida in the ITA Kick-Off hosted by the Pack at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
SCOUTING TEXAS:
The seventh-ranked Longhorns enter the contest at 2-0, collecting 4-0 sweeps against Iowa and LSU in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend.
Texas enters the match with three ranked singles players: t-No.4 Anna Turati, No. 43 Lexi Ryngler and No. 98 Ferdanda Labrana.
